With the Chicago area’s gas prices being one of highest in the nation, we can use any help with saving money in that area. Good news! Murphy USA is bringing back their popular discount when you pay using a Walmart Gift Card, Walmart MoneyCard or Walmart Credit Card.

Here’s how you take advantage of this deal:
– Save up to 10¢/gallon when you use your Walmart Gift Card
– Save up to 15¢/gallon when you use your Walmart MoneyCard or Walmart Credit Card

There is no coupon needed. The discount will be taken off at the pump after you insert your card.

We’ve took advantage of this deal yesterday when we filled up our van and saved about $2 off our total price. That might not seem like a lot of money, but when you add up all of the times we’ll be filling up between now and December, it will be quite a savings!

The fine print: Offer valid only at participating MurphyUSA stations. Stations in Florida, Oklahoma, and Minnesota are not eligible for full discount due to state regulations. Stations in Alabama are not eligible for gift card discounts. Rollback promotion ends December 24, 2012.
