[tweetherder]Visit the @msichicago on their #free admission days in 2013! #SavingsNation #Chicago[/tweetherder]
We love to visit the museums and other city attractions with our kids. However, with a family of 6, admission tickets can get quite costly. One way we save money is to visit the attractions during their free admission days.
Illinois residents receive free general admission at the Museum of Science and Industry on the following dates in 2013:
– January: 7-11, 14-18, 21-25, 28-31
– February: 6, 13, 20, 27
– March: 4
– April: 22
– May: 6
– June: 3-7, 10
– September: 9-13, 16-20, 23-27, 30
– October: 1, 2
– November: 4
– December: 9
The fine print: On Illinois Free Days, general admission is free for all Illinois residents who show valid proof of residency. No further Chicago residency discounts apply on Illinois Free Days. Omnimax films, the optional U-505 onboard tour, and certain temporary exhibits are not included in general admission, and require separate admission. See Ticket Prices on Illinois Free Days and Parking.
